The First Annual Wine Country High Tower Open At
Wing & Barrel Ranch

An Elevated Weekend of Sport, Style, and Sonoma Sophistication

September 12–13, 2025 | Wing & Barrel Ranch, Sonoma, California

Just an hour north of San Francisco, tucked between vine-covered hills and salt-kissed coastal breezes, a new kind of competition is taking aim at the sporting world’s elite. Introducing the inaugural Wine Country High Tower Open—a non-sanctioned clay shoot hosted at the members-only Wing & Barrel Ranch, where bespoke sport meets fine wine and five-star hospitality.

The weekend centers around California’s only custom high tower, designed by English shooting icon David Wing. The setting? A private 1,000-acre ranch where upland bird fields give way to bocce courts, fly casting, and nightly wine-paired feasts. At the helm of the shoot: Chris Batha, Britain’s most celebrated shooting instructor, offering elite coaching and VIP one-on-one sessions.

The Purse:
1st Place – $5,000 + the Brass Top Shot Trophy
2nd Place – $2,500
3rd Place – $1,000

But this isn’t just a shoot—it’s a lifestyle. Between rounds, competitors mingle with vintners, dine on chef-curated cuisine, and sip some of Sonoma’s most exclusive pours. It’s the type of weekend you remember for a long time.

About Wing & Barrel Ranch:
Lifelong friends Darius Anderson and Mike Sutsos, Sr. envisioned Wing & Barrel as more than a club—it’s a celebration of sporting tradition wrapped in California luxury. What began as a 1,000-acre hay ranch has become a retreat for those who savor wild pursuits, impeccable food, and the company of fellow outdoorsmen who demand the best.
