1. Eat Oatmeal for Breakfast

Oatmeal is like a blank healthy canvas you can pimp out as you like. Banana, Cashew Butter and Cinnamon? Yum. Maple syrup, Blueberries and Almond Milk? Perfect. You can even add Bacon to oatmeal (see below). It’s cheap, fast and really difficult to make unhealthy.

2. Don’t Keep Unhealthy Crap In Your Home

This is the simplest and most effective tip on the list. Listen, most people’s willpower sucks, if you have a box of Oreos, you’ll knock back a sleeve. Just keep fruits, vegetable, lean proteins and easy snacks like nuts around the house. You want a box of cookies, go for it, but the shear barrier to entry of having to walk to the store will most likely deter you.

3. Use Good Olive Oil & Salt

You know what sucks? Steamed broccoli. You know what doesn’t suck? Steamed broccoli tossed with good olive oil and salt. Understand that good fat (ghee, coconut oil, EVOO) and salt makes vegetables, grains, dark leafy greens and pretty much everything else become delicious.
